Climate Change
Climate change is likely to be one of the most important issues facing Wyoming and the western United States over the next century. The Wyoming SCO is involved in a variety of issues related to climate change, including:
- Incorporation of climate change predictions into the State Water Plan
- Analyses of potential drought and climate change impacts
- Governor Freudenthal’s “Climate Issues Task Force”
- Outreach related to the impacts of climate variability and climate change
