Managing Drifting Snow
For Snowdrift Control
Controlling Snowdrifts Around Buildings
Don't blizzards just naturally pile snow where it gives the most trouble?
Sometimes, snow fences and shelterbelts can eliminate troublesome drifts
around homes, barns, corrals, and other structures, by capturing drifting
snow before it piles up in front of doorways, gates, and chutes. Sounds like
an advertisement, but they sure save the snow shovel (and shoveler).
Then again, when the problem is snow drifting off your roof, maybe the best
solution is to park the pickup on the other side of the drive.
